What is the role of AI in the popular Squid Game series? Where do we go from here?
The popular Squid Game is creating a huge wave of craze in news media and memes in social media around the world. The show and its popularity can be understood in many ways. I was particularly interested in the role of technology, especially AI used in the show because, without them, many elements of the game would not have been possible.

I am going to describe some gory details about the series so do not read if you do not want to spoil your appetite.
AI Is the Key
To manage the deadly games, technology, especially AI, was the key element. To begin with, the selection of the participants would not have been possible without a database and a smart filtering and searching algorithm. The search engine would require software engineers front and back, and a recommendation system must be used for “future” participants.
Moving on to the actual games, the first game was translated as “Red Light Green Light”…
